11th Sunday Ordinary Time
Sr. Ashwena Apao, a Missionary Sister of St. Columban, is speaking at all weekend Masses. Each summer the Diocese of Buffalo assigns a religious priest, sister or brother to visit parishes to raise awareness regarding the missionary character of the Church. We are sent to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Sr. Ashwena was born in the Philippines and served in Myanmar (Burma) for many years. A 2nd collection is taken up today to support Catholic Missions around the world. Thank you for prayers and donations supporting the Missions.
