ABOUT OUR TROOP:
Church of the Annunciation’s boy scout troop 325 was formed in 1996 to continue the scouting experience for members of cub scout pack 325 upon their attainment of the Webelos rank and / or fifth grade.
The troop is part of the Red Jacket (formerly Southern Hills) District of the Greater Niagara Frontier Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We are chartered by the Holy Name Society of Church of the Annunciation Parish, Elma, NY.
The troop number was selected in honor of Our Blessed Mother, the patron of our charter organization, and her feast day. On March 25 [ 3/25 ] each year, the Annunciation of the Lord is celebrated. On that occasion, the angel Gabriel announced the virgin Mary as the mother of the Son of the Most High (Lk 1:26-32).
OUR EAGLE SCOUTS:
Troop 325 boys have been VERY busy. As of December 2019, forty-seven (47) troop members have reached the highest rank in scouting, Eagle Scout. Country wide, of all scouts, just 4 in 100 reach that lofty goal. GREAT WORK, guys!
